Ok, the thing is that she and I have been talking on and off for the last 2 and half years. She said she just broke up with her boyfriend because he was making her starve n only had food for himself. Why do people understand blind people better than Deaf people?

hi! from what i understand, most deaf people can speak. now, depending on the severity of deafness comes the problem. for example, i have severe colds and my hearing is somehow also blocked. whenever this happens to me, i sometimes have difficulties communicating with others because i can't hear what i'm saying that much. i think the same thing happens for the deaf people like you. you have no way of checking if you're pronouncing every words clearly or correctly because you yourself cant hear what you're saying. however, blind people only have problems with their visions and not with their hearing. therefore it's much easier for them to monitor what they're saying with regards to pronunciation that is. hope this helps...

First off, I am sorry that you do not know any deaf people and I am really impressed that you are interested in learning sign language. Seeking and asking on yahooanswers is the best thing to do which is really weird cause I am deaf myself, not kidding. Lol. That gives you the perfect opportunity to get the best answer directly from a deaf person, myself. Now, ill give you some of the reasons why fingerspelling is a good start. Actually, it is a MUST first step to learn because in some sign language there are form of letters using for that sign like "try" there is a letter "t" used for that word "try". Not all signs are using with letters now a days since most people are using pure american sign language with classifieds instead of using the english form which it uses "to" "the" "or" "and"... It makes it exaggerate longer. ASL is faster, simpler, and quicker... My daughter who is 4 years old, she has been signing the alphabet everyday A to Z and says now I know my abcs will u sing with me? So cute. She will be fluent in sign language later on cause she learned the alphabet first. Remember, its all about patience and how motivated you are and you'll do good in the long run. Sign language is very easy! You'll do more than great actually! :)

I didn't cause my ferret to go deaf did I????! Help!?

My ferret hasn't shown signs of going deaf in the past year we've had her. She is a DEW ferret. 5 or 6 and has adrenal disease fleas and jumpy syndrome. All which will be treated VERY soon so dont say anything Just the other day I realized their ears were dirty, possibly ear mites but most likely prob not. I cleaned their ears with marshals eat cleaner and q tips. They r ferret so they hated it. I did it again 2 days later to make sure everything was out and clean. I'm 16 and i'm re-doing my room. I got it re-done when I was 8, and I chose lime green and sky blue. I'm older and those colours seem a little kiddish for me, so I've chosen to re-do my whole room. My parents work and we was home alone, I sleep late since we're outta school for summer, usually stay up late playing video games, im 14 my sister is 16.About a week ago well I woke up about noon and went to the bathroom i open door it wasn't locked. I think I might have been sexually abused as a child. When I was younger I remember always humping things like pillows and stuffed animals. I also would hump my little sister. I know that sounds weird and gross but this was when I was young and didn't know better. My parents did foster care and we had a little girl and I would hump her too. I never wanted to I just did. And I never knew why I still don't know why to this day. This wasn't just a one time thing. Are medical billing/coding jobs hard to find?

I am considering becoming a medical biller/coder because I have enough money for the program in my area and I feel it would be a great start to a career in the medical field. Eventually, I would like to become a nurse, but the courses for CNA(certified nursing assistant) and medical assistants in my area are too expensive and always full. I know that medical billing/coding is not really medical work per say but it makes OK money, and since I have to pay for my education for myself, I think it would be a good investment. Should I be more concerned about my dog being around my dad's dogs?

My dad has a 13 y o german shepherd (Chief), a 13 y o lab (Remy) and an 8 month old yorkie (Teddy). My dog is a 7.4 lb Pom/chi and her and Teddy are best friends, so I take her with me whenever I go, usually from early Saturday to late Sunday and maybe another day or two. The big dogs have been ok with her so far (her and Teddy even gang up on them and steal their toys and treats) , but Chief is going deaf and Remy is in increasing pain from hip dysplasia, and is being tested currently for kidney failure, which they think he has. I know dogs get more irritable from pain and illness, and jumpier when they go deaf, and one snap from them could be pretty catastrophic. I always supervise closely the entire time, but should I start keeping her totally away from them?

Marvin is the other one..really nice guy, funny too, and he don't mind black jokes in fact he tells em sometimes) so,back to the story...I remember waking up around 530 am to go pee and felt like a "wetness" and soreness...no, more like a .burning.pain on my sphincter. when i went to them to ask them to use there cell phones because mine was missing..... in fact, my shoes, and the only shirt I had was missing as well, all I had left were the light tan shorts I wore the night before, no undies, no extra shorts...Funny, cuz I remember packing them and grabbing my clothes pack..... . of course the only shorts I had lleft were the tan ones I slept in, but, they had a blood stain the size of a baseball on them (and didn't want to go walking around with them on.....oh boy , what crappy luck, huh?) So, I figured I go to Marvin and Lesters tent to ask them if they had any issues but they were both gone?!?!? there car, there bags, all there extra clothers, even there small grilll was gone. like they were abducted from aliens...lol.....I remember thinking to myself how it was getting really sticky in my butt crack and that I had to wash it as soon as possible but the creek had really cold water and didn't look so inviting either, but, I didn't want it to get stuck, then I might really have issues, not being able to have a bowel movement can be really serious...imagine if you will, a full day or two of waste being stuck inside your bowels!!!! oh, man, that hurts so bad..I had to get an enema once when I was about 23..what an ordeal............gosh, i'm really getting off the subject, ...so, finally at about 9 am out of no where I see there car pulling into the camp site and they were kinda smiling and asking if my rectum was okay,(they used the other word for it...hehehe) so, being the good christian I am, I told them the truth and they began to chuckle..not knowing the situation, thay told me they had the same issue, so I started to think maybe it was the fish we had caught and eaten the day before..(the stream wasnt really clean) or maybe it was the rabbit we ate which we found on the side of the road perhaps it was contaminated, but I really don't think thats what was wrong because it was still soft (no rigormortis or anything, looked like it was sleeping ..well, they said they are going to the doctors tomorrow because they are really concerned and so am I... so I called my doctor too and go see him tuesday at 11 am..Im really concerned that it might be a bad case of prolapsed hemmoroids or rectal cancer (my gpop died from that, so it runs in the family) anyway gotta go, must change the gauze pad and clean it...dont want to get any fecal matter in tha sores ..if anyone has any ideas what it might me, please let me know...and I will keep you all up to date..thankyou all for being such good listeners..please pray for me and a speedy recovery for Myself, Lester and Marvin....Oh, I was also beginning to wonder if maybe its something contagious and if it is I sure hope I ddint have it first and somehow give it to them by sharing the same toilet seat....I've read about that kind of stuff before..guess all I can do is pray for them now and wait and see.............good night to you all and God Bless.

I just feel stuck... I LOVE music and baking, I was a cake decorator for a while, but that just doesn't pay, and its even harder to find a job. Right now I'm working with health insurance, and its ok. I've been doing it for about 2 years, with school/training. I'm still at the starting pay of $11.00 an hour, and I just don't know how to improve. I lost most of my knowledge of coding, but I was thinking of taking a refresher course (its free at my school, I can go back anytime) and become a certified coder. I'm also in school to finish my associate degree, and I'm still considering my bachelors. I'm 25 and still I don't know what to do! sphincter is beet red (no blood) and swollen, kinda like a prolapsed hemmoroid. i don't recall anything abnormal happening, I noticed it when I went camping with the two black guys next door to me (i think they are gay because they are always flirting and saying how they like white guys because there sphincters aren't as hairy or that the hair isn't like brillo pads............ew!!) so anyway, we went camping and we all got so drunk off this stuff called remy martin??..so anyway the last thing I remember was almost falling asleep into the fire and Lester stopping me from falling face first, Lester, is the bigger of the two guys and doesnt really laugh much . Marvin is the other one..really nice guy, funny too, and he don't mind black jokes in fact he tells em sometimes) so,back to the story...I remember waking up around 530 am to go pee and felt like a "wetness" and soreness...no, more like a .burning.pain on my sphincter. when i went to them to ask them to use there cell phones because mine was missing..... in fact, my shoes, and the only shirt I had was missing as well, all I had left were the light tan shorts I wore the night before, no undies, no extra shorts...Funny, cuz I remember packing them and grabbing my clothes pack..... . of course the only shorts I had lleft were the tan ones I slept in, but, they had a blood stain the size of a baseball on them (and didn't want to go walking around with them on.....oh boy , what crappy luck, huh?) So, I figured I go to Marvin and Lesters tent to ask them if they had any issues but they were both gone?!?!? there car, there bags, all there extra clothers, even there small grilll was gone. like they were abducted from aliens...lol.....I remember thinking to myself how it was getting really sticky in my butt crack and that I had to wash it as soon as possible but the creek had really cold water and didn't look so inviting either, but, I didn't want it to get stuck, then I might really have issues, not being able to have a bowel movement can be really serious...imagine if you will, a full day or two of waste being stuck inside your bowels!!!! oh, man, that hurts so bad..I had to get an enema once when I was about 23..what an ordeal............gosh, i'm really getting off the subject, ...so, finally at about 9 am out of no where I see there car pulling into the camp site and they were kinda smiling and asking if my rectum was okay,(they used the other word for it...hehehe) so, being the good christian I am, I told them the truth and they began to chuckle..not knowing the situation, thay told me they had the same issue, so I started to think maybe it was the fish we had caught and eaten the day before..(the stream wasnt really clean) or maybe it was the rabbit we ate which we found on the side of the road perhaps it was contaminated, but I really don't think thats what was wrong because it was still soft (no rigormortis or anything, looked like it was sleeping ..well, they said they are going to the doctors tomorrow because they are really concerned and so am I... so I called my doctor too and go see him tuesday at 11 am..Im really concerned that it might be a bad case of prolapsed hemmoroids or rectal cancer (my gpop died from that, so it runs in the family) anyway gotta go, must change the gauze pad and clean it...dont want to get any fecal matter in tha sores ..if anyone has any ideas what it might me, please let me know...and I will keep you all up to date..thankyou all for being such good listeners..please pray for me and a speedy recovery for Myself, Lester and Marvin....Oh, I was also beginning to wonder if maybe its something contagious and if it is I sure hope I ddint have it first and somehow give it to them by sharing the same toilet seat....I've read about that kind of stuff before..guess all I can do is pray for them now and wait and see.............good night to you all and God Bless.

I don't have acne, but I have scattered pimples here and there. I have oily/normal skin and I am tan. I really need a product that will keep my skin clear and smooth. Okay so about 3 weeks ago i had unprotected sex. Please don't lecture I learned my lesson and that was the first time i ever had u.p sex. It was the last day of my period. Just because you know english doesn't mean you know how to teach it ~ teaching something you learnt as a child can be very hard to pass on as you don't quite know how you learnt it yourself. If jobs are tough, why would you pass up the opportunity to get one, even if it is something you don't want to make a career out of? I mean, it could prove to be a means to an end if nothing else. Something to earn some money while you are waiting for the job/career you actually want to open up. You don't need medical classes to be a coder/biller at all. If you are unemployed, how are you living now? Who is paying your bills? Buying your food? Paying your rent? If it is your grandmother or either of your uncles, I don't see how you could tell them no without risking the gravy train you are riding on...I guess in the end however, if you just don't want the job you tell them...NO. Grow a pair and a spine and just tell them No. It's hard the first few times, but once you do, you will feel the weight of the world lift off your shoulders.

I never thought i would say this but i hate my sister!?

Sorry to say it will never get better or improve on any level with age. My sister is self envolved as well. She only calls or fb me when she needs something or has something to talk about that she needs advice on. I am the younger sister yet I seem to always be the one that helps her out. we are in our 30s now and its still the same to this day. Just know you cant change her or how she is but you can change you and not be a doormat for her anymore. Let her know how you feel and stand firmly. I can hear out of my left ear but is sounds really muffled and feels as if I'm underwater. I had my annual check up at the doctor a few days ago before this problem occurred and when the checked my hearing it was fine. I thought it may be wax so I cleaned my ear with peroxide, that helped a little...so are these sign of me going deaf or what?

My husband and I have been together for 6 years, we are 24 years old, we got married right out of highschool. We have a 3 and a 1 year old, both girls. I love him with all my heart I really do. After another big fight with my husband over the phone I had a bit to drink, alot to be honest, and I messed around with the guy. I didnt think I would ever get back with my husband. And I felt horrible and I still do. When we did get back together I lied and said I never did anything, I was so happy to get him back that I thought that would ruin it. I just wanted my family back, I know its wrong to lie. This was 9 months ago. My friend I lived with told him that I slept around on him, that is not true. And now my husband thinks and is telling everyone that I sleep around on him. I can't disprove it and he wont believe me. My dad had an actual affair with my step mom and they were able to work things out and are better then before. I am hoping that will happen for me. This was brought up 3 days ago and he wont tell me if we are going to work things out or not. I keep asking and he said 'Did I kick you out of the house and ask for my ring back?" but then he will say he will think about it and decide one way or another on his own time. The next minute he's saying I ruined the whole last 6 years of his life and that I want what I can't have. I don't know if him saying those things are just because of how hurt he is or if there is no chance. I dont know if I need to just stop talking to him all together til he comes to me or what to do. Tanning and prescription topical acne medication?

So my questions a little different than most tanning and acne medication questions. I already know from first hand experience what will happen if I tan in a tanning bed while using my acne medication (Ziana). I burn the h*** up!!! So what I'm needing to know is can I just wait till this burn goes away and get back in the tanning bed burn a little bit less and keep doing this until I no longer burn?? Will that ever happen? Because I honestly have my doubts... So my other option is just quit using the medication. Tanning usually clears up my acne quiet reasonably anyways. Anyways, if I just stop using it how long will it take before tanning will not cause me to burn any longer? Right away? Or does it take a while for your skin to go back to normal?? I've been working in the medical field for 3 years now. I've done hospital admin, billing, grunt work for medical coders, etc. I've always thought I wanted to do coding and have started looking into the AAPC program online. My question is for the money which coding program would be best, the CPC, or the CPC-H? It looks like the CPC you learn more knowledge of general info but I want the most bang for my buck.

I'm going to be a sophomore in high school and I'm starting to realize what I really enjoy, but I'm not sure what kind of jobs there are. Computer to Component help?

So, I bought this cord off amazon that goes from computer 15 pin VGA to compont, and it doesn't work. I learned it is b/c the computer outputs VGA and the Tv expects PYwhatever (basically wrong formats). I dont want to buy a coder box becasue they cost WAY too much, which is why I tried this cord in the first place. Does anyone know a way or program that will help me get this stuff working? Get your resume in order, and high tail it out of there. Be willing to lose a relationship with him for a while. Your marriage will depend on this. If you plan on having children, think what this work life style will mean to them. Quite frankly a car and benefits is not worth this stress. 3 days off a year and being berated for that is ridiculous.

You don't NEED to know. However, any company you're likely to work for will expect you to have some hardware knowledge and some ability to do networking as well. Depth of knowledge is generally advantageous.

As a child I lived in the east coast but was always very pale. My sister was always quite tan. However, now I am fairly tan, the only parts of me still pale is where my pants and shirt cover up and my underarms. I might have grown out of my original skin color, I know people tend to be naturally paler as children. But I'm thinking it's because the change of climate. I probably have a naturally pale skin color, but an easy ability to tan. Or maybe because I got tanned as a child, it got stuck that way? I don't know I'm curious though. By the way, I'm korean .

coders pay more-they go over the chart and bill based upon assigning ICD codes to treatments and diagnoses; transcriptionists (which are slowly fading out) simply type up records from dictation. Possible to do from home.
