Web delelopers/Coders - Tumblr question?

Hey. I have a idea, I want all of the "photo" posts to stay on my home, but I want all the other posts on a separate page. The reason for this is because I want a "Journal" page, but I'm not sure how to have it the same-ish layout. My tumblr is http://www.kaifolio.com . Does this sound possible? And How?
