What are the most popular freelance websites? Has anyone used the companies below....Recommendations?
I'm part of a well known programming team on elance and for the record elance is great..probably the standard...Guru comes a close second as well as oDesk(they have some privacy issues with the whole idea of having providers install software on home systems to monitor keystrokes and time) The new kid on the block that is quietly picking up steam is CertificationPoint.Org. They've somehow found a way to allow entry level(newbies) providers to gain honest work amongst the veterans due to the verification of certifications, degrees, credentials and such. They've also got an excellent project management area for project buyers and providers to seriously colloborate on the project. Imagine getting laid off or a being college student and wanting to used your skills to gain freelance work...Certificationpoint.Org is the way to go...Elance is huge and can have a newbie feeling somewhat tentative. As far as Scriptlance.com, I have registered there but have never been awarded a project...You certainly have to pick your poison with respect to freelance work...but it can certainly be rewarding.
