Would a side fringe (bang) suit me?

I have never had a side fringe but I have had a front fringe when was 3 - 9 years old. I grew it out and it looks fine the way it is but I would really love a change and I thought a change in hair style would be perfect. I've been getting blonde, caramel and brown highlights in my light brown hair for 3 years now and I just want to make sure a side fringe would still suit with them. I also have an oval shaped head but it can also look a bit round. I have freckles and a light tan.
